Lotus Cars Australia has secured 10 of the special edition Elise Club Racer for local sale from next month.
Based on the Elise S and powered by a 100kW, 1.8-litre four cylinder engine, the Club Racer features four classic colours as used by Lotus in the 1960s.
Weighing just 860kgs, the Club Racer rides on six-spoke alloy wheels and special Yokohama AD07 LTS tyres.
Inside are lightweight sports seats with microfibre comfort pads and a small 320mm steering wheel with an on-centre marker (as used in racing cars). Anodised aluminium flooring for both driver and passenger complete the race track appearance.
Priced at $72,990, the Elise Club Racer is perfectly set-up to attack track days with British style and flair. It would be racy workday vehicle as well.
