Specialist British sports car manufacturer Lotus has unveiled the fastest derivative of its iconic Elise model so far – the ‘Cup 250’ model which arrives in Australia early next year.
Only 200 of the Lotus Elise Cup 250 are slated for production and they’ll arrive 21kgs lighter and with more power than the already rapid regular version.
We’re a talking 181kW/250Nm from the supercharged 1.8-litre, four-cylinder engine.
The latest Lotus Elise comes as a Roadster model as standard and hardtop model optional.
A ‘Carbon Aero Pack’ drops an extra 10kgs taking the Elise to just 921kgs.
Australian specifications and prices will be announced closer to launch.
