With its F1 team back where it belongs at the front of the field, Lotus has rolled-out the Exige S in Australia priced from $119,990.
In the best Lotus tradition, the Exige S is lightweight – under 1200kgs – and its 258kW/400Nm supercharged 3.5-litre V6 propels the British-built sports car from zero to 100km/h in 4.0 seconds.
Variable configurations are available via Lotus’ Dynamic Performance Management (DPM) system with ‘Toruing’ and ‘Sport’ settings (or you can disable it altogether). A ‘Race Pack’ option is available which brings a ‘Race’ setting with launch control and optimized suspension settings.
Snug-fitting sports sets inside have the Lotus Exige S and its occupants ready for ‘high-speedery’ in the best Lotus traditions.
