Up-market Italian fashion brand Fendi has joined with Maserati to create the GranCabrio Fendi model which makes its catwalk – sorry, that should be motor show – debut in Frankfurt.
Designed by Silvia Venturini Fendi, the gorgeous new addition to the Maserati would be perfect to cruise Rome’s via Condotti – with its magnificent fashion boutiques home to Italy’s famous brands.
Crafted in Maserati's Modena HQ, the GranCabrio Fendi features lots of beautiful bespoke materials and colours – including a three-layered body colour in dark grey with an iridescent gold finish, Pergamena Fendi wood trim for the dashboard, touches here and there of Cuoio Romano, Fendi’s most precious leather and lots of Fendi yellow (including the gear-lever).
You can even get a set of matching Fendi luggage.
No Fendi touches under the bonnet though – Maserati’s 4.7-litre V8 is best left un-changed.
