They’re saying this car, Mazda’s Geneva Motor Show Hazumi concept car, is a pointer to the all-new, next generation Mazda2.
For sure, Mazda’s ‘Kodo – Soul Of Motion’ design language has taken an interesting twist.
“Whereas with longer models such as the Shinari we use long and free lines of motion stretching from the front to the back to express Kodo, with Hazumi we’ve created a form which suggests explosive motion,” explained chief designer Ryo Yanagisawa.
Inside is a light, youthful looks with a flowing dashboard and suspended centre console
The show car employs Mazda’s newly developed 1.5-litre SKYACTIV-D clean diesel engine and also the new ‘Mazda Connect’ connectivity system.
