Mazda has added USB connectivity to its funky Mazda2 compact car range.

The USB input is located in the Mazda2’s centre console enabling easy connection of iPhones, iPods and USB memory.

Mazda2 owners can make their music selections and control volume via the remote controls on the steering wheel.

And where the plugged-in device contains a suitable function, artist, song and album names will be displayed on the Mazda2’s multi-information display.

Mazda has also incorporated a couple of styling changes for its hot-selling compact – a new ‘Stormy Blue Mica’ paint colour replaces the current ‘Burgundy Red Mica’ and Maxx and Genki models score a new black centre cap for the wheels (as per the Mazda CX-5 SUV).
