Following in the tyre tracks of the marvelous CLS models, Mercedes-Benz has used the Detroit Auto Show to reveal the all-new CLA.
Based on last year’s Style Coupe concept car, the all-new Mercedes-Benz CLA - while sharing styling cues with the larger CLS four-door coupe – sits on the MFA platform as used in the all-new A-Class and will actually slot underneath the C-Class as a new entry-level M-Benz sedan.
Power comes from Mercedes’ 155kW/350Nm turbocharged 2.0-litre petrol engine (as used in the A 250).
Interior style comes straight from the A-Class.
And, as we know, the AMG version – CLA 45 AMG is slated for debut later this year at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
Expect the Mercedes-Benz CLA in Australia before the end of 2014.
