Holden has introduced the MY12 Holden Captiva range with no price changes despite improved fuel consumption and extra features.
In fact the Holden Captiva 5 2.4-litre petrol manual is available at the ‘driveaway’ price of $27,990 and the Captiva 7 SX 2.4-litre petrol automatic carries a ‘driveaway’ price of $33,990.
Powertrain re-calibration for the new Holden Captiva sees the new models achieve fuel consumption improvements of up to 10 per-cent and all petrol models now have flex-fuel capability meaning buyers can refuel with bio-ethanol, E10, regular unleaded, premium unleaded or any combination.
Fuel consumption for Holden Captiva 5 drops to 8.8l/100kms for the 2.4-litre petrol and 8.2l/100kms for the 2.2-litre diesel. For Holden Captiva 7 you can mark down 9.0l/100kms for the 2.4-litre petrol SX model, 7.6l/100kms for the 2.2-litre diesel SX, 8.1l/100kms for the 2.2-litre diesel CX and LX while the 3.0-litre V6 petrol CX and Lx rate at 10.1l/100kms.
Other changes see the safety of rear park assist now standard on Holden Captiva 7 SX. Range-topping Holden Captiva 7 LX also adds to its list of standard features with heated front seats and front park assist.
All Holden Captiva 7 models now offer USB input and full iPod connectivity and the 2000kgs towing capacity for the 3.0-litre V6 models will be appreciated by caravan and boating enthusiasts.
