Renault’s excellent Koleos compact SUV has scored an update called ‘Phase 3’ and has been launched from a very competitive $27,490 ‘driveaway’.
Most noticeable in the new model is the updated look – the front-end showing Renault’s bolder design (first seen a couple of months back in the all-new Clio).
There’s also new-design alloy wheels, a freshened interior (now with the option of brown leather), a reversing camera combined with rear parking sensors, blindspot warning and a new audio system with a 7-inch touchscreen.
As per the previous generation, entry-level to the Renault Koleos is the ‘Expression’ model.
Mid-range ‘Bose Edition’ adds integrated touchscreen satellite navigation amongst its extras while the range-topping ‘Privilege’ steps-up with items like two-tone leather for the interior.
No changes for the 126kW 2.5-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine, however the 2.0-litre, four cylinder turbo-diesel has been boosted by 17kW to 127kW.
The new lineup is:
Expression 4x2 petrol manual $27,490
