Although it’s not sold in Australia, Toyota’s compact Aygo is a top-seller in Europe and an all-new model debuts next week at the Brussels Motor Show ahead of UK on-sale in March.
Power comes from an unchanged three-cylinder, 1.0-litre petrol engine delivering 50kW/93Nm and with 3.6l/100kms and emissions below 100g/km, the Toyota Aygo is certainly plant-friendly.
Available in both three-door and five-door configurations, the newcomer boasts updated looks with some cues to the Toyota Yaris sold here. Measuring 15mm longer than its predecessor, the latest Toyota Aygo remains compact and ideal as a city commuter with a tiny 4.7-metre turning circle.
The interior also steps-up over the current Aygo with new-look trim, a new dashboard layout and steering wheel.
