Nissan Australia have announced the details for their new special edition of their Qashqai. Called the N-Sport, it will offer buyers a sportier twist on the popular Japanese crossover at a driveaway price of $26,990 - or $1,000 more than the ST 2.0L Petrol 2WD on which it’s based.
For that premium Nissan promises over $1,800 worth of extras, such as a set of larger high contrast 18-inch alloy wheels as well as exterior trim finished in ‘ice chrome’, including the front and rear styling plates, front lip finisher, side door sills, and trunk lower finisher.
Since it’s based on the entry-level Qashqai ST, it comes with the same set of safety and tech features as well as sharing its engine and transmission combination, specifically a 2.0-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder petrol that outputs 106kW and 200Nm. Expectedly, drive is sent to the front wheels via their X-Tronic continuously variable transmission (CVT).
“The Qashqai N-Sport Special Edition offers something unique to the highly regarded Qashqai range. The package includes all the safety, technology and comfort the Qashqai is known for with accents that add a distinctive flair”. Said Richard Emery, Managing Director and CEO of Nissan Australia.
