Fans of earlier generation Nissan Pulsar SSS models had reason to cheer at the Paris Motor Show when Nissan uncorked this NISMO-tweaked Pulsar.
Branded a concept car, there’s no doubt the race-inspired NISMO version would make a super range-topper for the Pulsar lineup and breath much-need pizzaz into Nissan showrooms.
But don’t forget Nissan has tasked NISMO with developing a wider range of vehicles for global showrooms so we’ve got a feeling there’s more to come from this racy Pulsar derivative.
Painted in ‘Satin Grey’ with the hallmark NISMO layered double wing accentuated in red, the aero body kit is not just for show – it’s been developed with airflow analysis for improved aerodynamics.
There’s an aero front bumper with larger aid intakes and brake cooling ducts, side skirts, flared wheelarches to accommodate the 19-inch alloy wheels, a carbon-fibre rear spoiler and a diffuser-type rear bumper.
Inside are Alcantara-trimmed sports seats, alloy pedals, sports three-spoke steering wheel and a red tachometer.
And underneath Nissan has tweaked the suspension with a lower ride height, sports-tuned springs and dampers a re-calibrated steering.
Please Nissan, get this NISMO Pulsar into production ASAP.
