Nissan has sharpened the value package of the X-TRAIL lineup with a range of extra specifications.
Ti petrol and TL Turbo Diesel models gain a new seven-inch LCD colour touchscreen for the new satellite navigation system and reversing camera. There is also a new entertainment system with CD player, DVD compatibility, iPod and Bluetooth connectivity.
The upgraded models are distinguished externally by new 18-inch alloy wheels and privacy glass.
Prices have increased by $2,000 to $42,490 (Ti) and $42,990 (TL).
X-TRAIL STL secures leather seats (front electronically adjustable and heated), steering wheel audio controls, privacy glass, Bluetooth and iPod connectivity. Prices rise by $1,000 to $37,740 (manual) and $40,240 (CVT automatic).
ST gets iPod connectivity but the price remains $32,990.
TS Turbo Diesel gets iPod and Bluetooth, steering wheel controls and privacy glass with no price change - still $37,740.
X-TRAIL remains a standout success for Nissan and the revised lineup sharpens the package in a market segment that has seen significant new model activity in recent months.
