General Motors’ German brand Opel will launch in September with 17 dedicated Australian dealers, including representation in every capital city.
While Opel’s local operation shares many functions with local parent Holden, the actual dealerships are stand-alone facilities.
“We are extremely proud of our Opel dealer network,” revealed Opel Australia chief Bill Mott. “The significant investment in unique, stand-alone Opel facilities is a testament to the potential they ascribe to the brand in Australia.”
Some of Australia’s most successful automotive retail operators have signed-up for the German brand including Motorline and AP Eagers in Queensland, Australian Automotive Group, Alto Group and Tyan Motors in NSW, Jefferson Automotive Group, John Blair and Rex Gorell in Victoria and Barbagallo in Perth.
