Britain’s Autocar magazine has named the Porsche Cayman R as Britain’s Best Driver’s Car 2011.
That’s some achievement as the Porsche Cayman R had to see-off a field of 11 stunning cars which included the Mercedes-Benz CLS64 AMG and McLaren MP4-12C. In fact the Porsche Cayman R was one of the most affordable vehicles in the test.
However the Porsche Cayman R’s complete package, steering and ride got the nod from the six Autocar judges.
Summing-up the results, Autocar’s Steve Sutcliffe said: “The Porsche CaymanR’s steering is about as sweet as it gets and the ride is 150 times better than it has any right to be considering how little body movement there is when you’re really going for it. Right now this car is as good as it gets when it comes to pure driver satisfaction.”
