Proton has boosted the lineup of its value-packed S16 model with the addition of a four-variant FLX grade priced from just $13,990.
Most noticeable is a more dynamic look intended to boost popularity with younger buyers. At the front are new headlights, front grille, bonnet, fenders and bumper, while the rear gains a new bumper and LED combination lamps. The side view sees new mirrors with integrated LED turn signals.
Both models score front fog-lights and new-design alloy wheels while the range-topping GXR gets a rear spoiler.
Inside are new design seats (leather-trimmed in GXR), new door trims, new steering wheel with remote audio controls and an upgraded sound system with CD, MP3 and AUX?USB ports.
