While those of us currently water-logged and shivering in Sydney and Melbourne may find it hard to believe, summer is close – perfect timing for Renault to wheel-out updates for the stylish Megane Coupe-Cabriolet.
The slick French two-door is available in two models – ‘Dynamique’ priced from $38,490 and GT-Line priced from $43,990.
Both are powered by Renault’s naturally-aspirated 2.0-litre engine driving the front wheels.
And both score the updated looks of the rest of the Megane lineup.
GT-Line adds red highlights, leather seats (fronts heated), unique 17-inch alloy wheels, upscale Arkamys audio and R-link satellite navigation.
“I can see you, your brown skin shining in the sun and those Wayfarers on…” goes those Don Henley ‘Boys Of Summer’ song. Renault has the right car - now if only the boys at the Bureau Of Meteorology will co-operate and get that fireball in the sky appearing (ain’t seen much of it in Sydney or Melbourne for a while!).
