Saab To Restart Production

Saab owner Spyker Cars has secured sufficient extra funding to resume vehicle production within a week.

With an injection of €59.1 million, from both private and government sources, Spyker has overcome the liquidity crisis which saw some component manufacturers stop supplying the Swedish manufacturer and lead to the suspension of production more than one month ago.

Saab Automobile has commenced talks with suppliers in order to minimize the disruption to customer orders.

Timing of the production disruption was particularly unfortunate for Saab cars Australia as it occurred right in the middle of the company’s press/dealer launch for the all-new 9-5 range.
