Korean brand SsangYong is on the bounceback with news of the all-new B-segment (compact SUV) Tivoli model announced in Europe and heading to Australia to take-on the likes of Ford EcoSport and the upcoming Mazda CX-3.
Boasting a more conventional look than some SsangYong vehicles, the Tivoli will be powered by a choice of 1.6-litre petrol or diesel engines driving through either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission.
Underneath is an all-new platform and MacPherson strut front/torsion beam rear suspension – the latter a space-efficient layout which assists in providing a handy 432-litres of luggage space.
We’ll see the SsangYong Tivoli in Australia later this year.
