SsangYong is claiming the title of ‘Australia’s Most Fuel-Efficient Dual Cab Utility’ for its new Actyon model.
The Korean brand says its 2WD Tradie model gets as low as 7.3l/100kms (12 per cent better than its predecessor) thanks to the all-new 2.0-litre e-XDi200 turbo-diesel powerplant and new six-speed manual transmission.
Maximum power is 114kW and peak torque of 360Nm is delivered between 1500-2800rpm. Towing capacity is up to 2300kgs
Longer, wider and taller than the previous model, SsangYong’s new Actyon also boasts an improved interior with a new dashboard and LED instruments. Underneath is a double wishbone front-end and multi-link rear.
NVH is also recued thanks to revision including double-layer soundproofing around the dashboard, a new engine cover and slanted engine mounts.
Range-topping Actyon SPR gains leather seats (fronts electronically adjustable), 18-inch alloy wheels, rear parking sensors and automatic wipers and headlights.
