At the Geneva Motor Show, Subaru showed it too has plug-in hybrids in mind with the debut of the VIZIV 2.
The four-door crossover certainly looks the part and is powered by a plug-in hybrid system and a turbocharged 1.6-litre ‘Boxer’ engine.
Drive is to all four wheels via a Lineartronic CVT with one front engine and two rear electric motors.
Subaru says the rear motor-driven symmetrical AWD system is headed for production in future models.
On the technology front, Subaru’s VIZIV 2 features an innovative auto pilot system.
