And due here by year end.
Subaru, the Japanese manufacturer that you either love or hate for always dancing to their own beat, has released a teaser of an all-new Forester SUV, their mid-sized family wagon that competes against cars like the Honda CR-V, Toyota RAV4, and Renault Koleos.
The company has confirmed that the car will be revealed on March 28th, with the New York International Auto Show expected to open its doors two days later.
The new-generation Forester is expected to lean heavily on the Viziv Future Concept that we first saw some three years ago, which will bring the Forester firmly in line with current-generation Subarus in terms of appearance and aesthetic. Further, the new Forester is expected to gain a lot of the intelligent technology that comes bundled in Subarus’s vaunted ‘EyeSight’ advanced driver assistance systems.
When it arrives, the Subaru Forester will have to do battle with some rather newer competition like the Mazda CX-5, Hyundai Tucson, and Kia Sportage. If it retains the same comfortable ride of the current model, and throws in some driving vigour to boot, the new Forester could be quite a proposition when it arrives before the end of the year.
