This week, Suzuki Australia has announced updated kit and prices for its S-Cross crossover SUV. The facelifted S-Cross will be available in two trim levels, with prices starting at $27,990 (before ORC).
The S-Cross is powered exclusively by a 1.4-litre ‘Boosterjet’ turbocharged petrol engine, lifted from the Vitara S Turbo, and produces 103kW and 220Nm. The power goes through a six-speed automatic, while drive is limited to just the front wheels.
The entry-level S-Cross Turbo comes as standard with a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system (replete with navigation & Apple CarPlay), cruise control, Bluetooth, a reversing camera, 17-inch alloy wheels, keyless entry and go, dual-zone climate control, and tinted rear ‘privacy’ glass.
Jumping up to the Turbo Prestige nets you a polished finish for the 17-inch wheels, automatic LED headlights, a dimming rear view mirror, and ‘leather-accented’ seats. Four colours will be made available, with Cool White being the only no-cost option; Indigo Blue, Glactic Grey, and Silky Silver all command a small premium.
To mark the update, Suzuki Australia is offering the S-Cross with drive-away pricing at $1,000 extra, which puts the S-Cross Turbo at $28,990 and the Turbo Prestige at $30,990 on-the-road.
