Another European motor show, more MINI derivatives – the theme will not change in Geneva next month with BMW’s British brand set to reveal three newcomers, bringing its total number of variants to 41.
Headlining the trio is the John Cooper Works Countryman – the first time MINI has offered the performance John Cooper Works version in all-wheel-drive. With its 160kW turbocharged petrol engine and racy 18-inch alloy wheels the MINI John Cooper Works Countryman also introduces for the first time an optional six-speed automatic transmission.
Next-up is a MINI delivery van – the Clubvan – which is a two-seater with a flat load area out-back and opaque rear side windows.
Finally, look for the premium MINI Highgate Convertible which joins the MINI Baker Street and Bayswater models in the London boroughs-themed collection readying for the summer Olympic Games.
