Arriving without much fanfare in Paris was Honda’s updated CR-Z hybrid sports car.
Honda has recalibrated the 1.5-litre’s engine management system, tweaked the valve timing and swapped the electric motor’s battery to lithium-ion. The result is an extra 10kW of power (now 101kW) and a 16Nm boost in torque (now 190Nm).
Notwithstanding, Honda UK says fuel consumption for the CR-Z remains unchanged at 5.0l/100kms.
Styling changes are minor – a new front-end , HID headlights (now with LED DRLs) and new fog-lights.
