Volkswagen staged the global debut of the updated Jetta sedan at the New York International Auto Show. Not surprising really as this model is the best-seller of the Volkswagen range in North America.
In the U.S. the updated Volkswagen Jetta scores new front and rear styling, revised interiors, Bi-Xenon headlights with LED DRLs and the Adaptive Front-lighting System, Blind Spot Detection, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Park Distance Control and Frontal Collision Warning.
Under the bonnet, the updated Jetta debuts Volkswagen’s new EA288 2.0TDI Clean Diesel engine. There’s also a turbocharged 1.4-litre hybrid and a selection of naturally-aspirated and forced-induction petrol engines.
Revised exterior styling focused on aerodynamics and includes a dynamic
radiator shutter.
Inside here is some extra chrome and high-gloss piano black highlights.
