Toyota has introduced running changes for the 86 sports car including – hard to believe – suspension modifications to make the ride and handling even crisper. That’s like giving golf lessons to Rory McIlroy!
The updated Toyota 86 delivers reduced body roll and improved stability thanks to retuned shock absorbers, new suspension mounts, new oil seals, guide bushings and lower friction oil.
Inside, Toyota 86 GT picks-up the higher-grade GTS model’s instrument cluster including a digital speedo, rev indicator light and gear position indicator.
Toyota 86 GTS adds a reversing camera and carbon look for the instrument panel.
Both models score a shark fin antenna and there are some new paint colours.
Prices for the GT remain unchanged (starting from $29,990) while the GTS goes up by $500 (manual) and $800 (automatic).
