CarShowroom.com.au fondly remembers the hundreds of kilometres we drove in our V6 AWD Volkswagen Beetle RSi some years back and now comes news of an even better model.
This is the Volkswagen Beetle GSR - developed in North America by Andretti Motorsports for the Global Rallycross Series.
With 406kW from its turbocharged 1.6-litre engine and all-wheel-drive (front and rear limited-slip differentials), the lightweight competition Beetle model accelerates from zero to 100km/h in around 2.1 seconds.
Naturally there’s an awesome body kit and massive 17-inch alloy wheels.
Sadly we won’t see this ‘Bad Boy’ in Aussie Volkswagen dealerships any time soon.
