Ahead of its unveiling in a few weeks at the Los Angeles auto show Volkswagen has released first images of its new Passat CC four-door coupe.
In fact responding to the popularity of the elegantly styled and sharply priced CC, Volkswagen has decided it is now a stand-alone model and the Passat name has been dropped.
And, cleverly, styling changes for the new model are minimal. The new CC scores the new Volkswagen corporate horizontal grille, new bi-xenon headlights, a reshaped bonnet, more prominent side sills, a new look LED taillights.
Inside to changes aren't massive - adjustable headrests and some trim changes.
Volkswagen group Australia will announce the local model lineup and pricing ahead of launch early next year.
