Volkswagen’s 4MOTION all-wheel-drive system can now be optioned on Transport and Multivan models. 

Prices for the 4MOTION Transporter start at $45,490, while the all-wheel-drive Multivan starts at $60,990. You can choose from a six-speed manual transmission or (for the first time with 4MOTION) the seven-speed DSG automatic.

Currently the Multivan is a top seller for Volkswagen in Australia but the company needs to stay on its toes because the reinvigorated Chrysler has unveiled the latest version of its excellent Grand Voyager people mover in North America and it’s due here next year.
