CarShowroom.com.au is about to embark on a 5,000 kilometer long-term review of the Hyundai ix35 Highlander diesel AWD SUV.
Our drive route will consist of freeway and inner city driving which will give us the opportunity to find out what real world fuel consumption would be like on daily 145km commute.
The 2.0-litre diesel engine produces 135kW and 392Nm of power and is paired to a six-speed automatic transmission. Fuel consumption is a claimed 7.2L/100km (urban 9.2L/100km and extra 6.0L/100km).
