Having had a turbo diesel TS RWD Territory for 3 months, I find it a great improvement on the petrol RWD Ghia I traded on it. I am currently averaging 7 litres per 100 kms on a trip and 8.5 lts combined. The bonus is the five year warranty and fixed price servicing. The only complaint I have is the choice of material for the upholstery. It always looks dirty and is hard to clean without using a sticky roller brush. The turbo diesel is a gutsy motor. It has a slight turbo lag but once you're used to it makes little difference to the overall performance. I originally bought a Territory as a tow vehicle for a caravan. It does this without issue.. I highly recommend anybody who wants to tow up to 2300kg to look at one.

Our new diesel Territory is kitted out well, with a DVD player to keep the kids amused. Very economical with low 8's/high 7s on the highway per 100km. Plenty of get-up-and-go, lots of room for the kids and their gear, and no problems yet. (Can someone tell that loser Fred elphick to stop raving about volkswagens, this is meant to be a provision for people to write about their own experiences with cars.)
