I don't own one but to me, the VW 4 motion Multivan would be the perfect /All rounder/ EXCEPT. The towing capacity of the vehicle. For my purposes 2000kg is good but 100kg tow ball downforce rating is no good. (my van is 1455kg with 145kg tow ball weight). Is VW ever going to address this in the future?

On the purchase of another Multivan in Tasmania, I would definitely recommend a 4Motion 132kW.
Comfortline is just as good as Highline if you get leather seats. The price from a Highline to a Comfortline is over $10k, so what added extras is there? Not that many.
We purchased a 2011 132kW Comfortline from NSW in April 2011, and got leather interior aftermarket. This cost about $2k. The only reason we wanted a Highline was for the leather, so why not just go a Comfortline and get leather put in later.
I am only disappointed with some of the roads in Tasmania becuase they are rough and a 4Motion would just add that smoother touch when driving.
