Chevrolet has released details on the 2014 Malibu (sold here as the Holden Malibu).
Headlining the updates State-side is a new 2.5-litre Ecotec 146kW DOHC four-cylinder petrol engine with variable valve timing and auto start-stop which improve fuel consumption by up to 14 per-cent.
The Chevrolet version of the Malibu also picks-up a Text-to-Voice function in the MyLink system which converts incoming messages to speech (reading them over the audio system) and enabling drivers to respond with a pre-set message such as: “I’m currently driving and will contact you later.”
